Aircraft Restoration Company grew directly from the small, dedicated team
that originally restored the derelict Bristol Type 149 ‘Blenheim / Bolingbroke
G-BPIV to an airworthy condition. Based at Duxford airfield, the Company has
gained enviable status within the Historic Aviation maintenance industry for
the quality of its work and outstanding restoration projects.
With close links to Historic Flying Ltd. for many years, the two companies are
now under the same management and work closely together, transferring
skills between projects as required.
The engineering workforce from both companies is backed by a competent
administration and finance team, an extensive stores/purchasing department,
and a special projects/design department. In addition, the company operates
the refueling contract at Duxford, responsible for supplying aviation fuel seven
days a week to visiting aircraft.
The ability to arrange flights for airshows, displays, flypasts and filming, obtain
flight authorisations, procure pilots and supply publicity material, means the
Company offers a total aviation package for historic aircraft owners and
enthusiasts alike.
